About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the enterprise-wide IT architecture
- Manage relationships with external MSPs and software vendors
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of core solutions (e.g., Veeva QualityDocs, QMS, RIM, LIMS)
- Act as the technical authority for GxP/CSV (Computer System Validation)
- Serve as a bridge between scientific stakeholders and external vendors
- Design advanced security frameworks to protect intellectual property
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a similar field
- MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred
- Proven track record of managing larger implementation projects and multiple MSPs/vendors
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems
- Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in Life Sciences (GCP/GLP/GMP, FDA/EMA regulations)
- Wide-ranging expertise in SaaS integrations (e.g. Veeva Vault), Azure, database design (SQL/NoSQL), API management, and cloud infrastructure
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead through influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- Fluent in English required, German preferred
