About the role

• Maximo Developer at Affinity Water responsible for design, build and enhancements of Maximo applications. Collaborating with IT and business teams to optimize system functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new applications, interfaces, and extensions using Java, JavaScript, and external APIs to extend Maximo's capabilities for strategic goals across the business.
• Working with architecture and development teams to help shape and design fit for purpose solutions.
• Development and implementation of minor configuration changes to the Maximo system such as; Start Centres, BIRT Reporting, Application Changes and Data Updates.
• Maintain product functional expertise in Maximo.
• Assist the Maximo Support team in investigating and solving recurring or challenging support issues.

Requirements

• A ‘can-do’ attitude and contribute to ways of working within a small team of likeminded individuals.
• Experience with various project methodologies and can support colleagues in developing their skills.
• Experience of implementing or supporting Maximo 7.6 (MAS is desirable but not essential).
• Experience Scripting in Java, Python, Jython.
• Ability to work independently using your own initiative or as part of a team.
• Understanding of development life cycles.
• Experience of Maximo configuration such as; Start Centres, Queries, KPIs, Application Designer, Conditional Expressions, SQL and data analysis.
