About the role
- Hardware Layout Developer involved in electronic design and development processes in telecommunications industry. Working from concept to market launch in innovative technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic assemblies from concept phase through to market launch
- Design of electronic circuits in digital and analog domains, microcontroller systems, FPGA, and power supplies
- Selection, evaluation and qualification of electronic components with consideration of EMC requirements
- Creation of schematics, PCB layouts and complete manufacturing documentation
- Support during commissioning, measurements and technical analysis of prototypes
- Close collaboration with R&D, production and quality assurance to ensure efficient and high-quality implementation
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a comparable field – alternatively, equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
- Experience in electronic circuit design and PCB layout, ideally including power supply design
- Good knowledge of microcontroller systems (including memory and network interfaces) and FPGA systems from a hardware perspective
- Solid understanding of EMC-compliant PCB design and its practical implementation
- Structured, analytical and independent working style with a strong solution orientation
- Team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration in a development environment
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
