About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the launch and growth of the Baden-Württemberg organization, in alignment with the long-term corporate strategy and local initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and project execution, ensuring delivery of local KPIs and contribution to global objectives.
- Provide strong technical leadership and drive innovation in semiconductor, chiplet, and packaging technologies for the automotive sector.

Requirements
- PhD in engineering or a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in fabless, semiconductor manufacturing, or R&D environments.
- 5+ years of proven leadership in managing a mid-size site within the semiconductor or microelectronics industry, ideally in an international context.
- Strong expertise in semiconductors, microelectronics, and advanced R&D.
- Experience managing German and EU-funded research projects, from proposal to completion.
- Working knowledge of automotive chip design or automotive sensing is a plus.
- Up-to-date awareness of the latest industry and technology developments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong track record of success in research and innovation.
- Ability to judge problem situations, set priorities, and act with flexibility.
