IS Operations Manager overseeing service delivery of IS services in Finance Technology. Responsible for service operations and collaboration with internal and third-party resources in Krakow, Poland.
Responsibilities
Accountable for delivering and orchestrating the delivery of IS service line operations activities
Coordinates with and supervises internal and/or external third-party supplier resources
Maps business process demand to existing or new IS services
Integrates operations and build activities in collaboration with the build team
Reviews Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and corresponding service monitoring and controlling metrics
Plays an active role in defining new contracts with vendors for operational activities
Defines the level and type of monitoring and assures all consumer interaction points lifecycle experience are under control
Optimises and reviews incident management, problem management, service requests, and all processes related to domain service delivery and operation
Responsible for ensuring service availability and performance are properly monitored
Supports major incident and critical situation resolution
Ensures the Service Desk organisation is properly informed and trained to route requests and incidents correctly
Manages relationships with third-party suppliers and local experts
Reviews periodically the performance of the operation teams, the quality of the deliverables, and the satisfaction of stakeholders and end-users
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in IS application management, SAP functional consulting, or a similar role within IS Finance/Treasury domain
Solid knowledge of SAP Finance modules
Proven understanding of custom-built application operations
Understanding of banking processes: SWIFT communication, bank account management, payment flows, intercompany settlements, and liquidity management
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and CFIN integration landscape
Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into IT solutions
Experience writing functional specifications and working with SAP configuration teams
Understanding of compliance requirements is a strong plus
Certifications required - ITIL V4 foundation
Certifications preferred- CFIN/SAP technology specific certifications, IT compliance-relevant certification
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle critical incidents calmly and efficiently.
Experience in a global, multicultural work environment is preferred.
