Responsibilities
Technical expertise: Support clients in selecting battery technologies and optimizing revenues
Perform market analyses, including regulatory frameworks and potential revenue streams
Work across the entire lifecycle of BESS projects, from design to commissioning
Support clients in optimizing the operation of storage assets
Provide expertise on integrating storage systems into electrical grids
Develop and structure methodologies and deliverables for BESS projects
Participate in Project Owner Assistance (Assistance to the Project Owner - AMO) engagements
Train and support colleagues on BESS-related topics
Promote technical knowledge sharing between international offices
Requirements
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, energy systems or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on power/electrotechnical engineering
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in BESS studies, deployment or review across various technologies
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects in parallel
Strong interest in renewable energy and the energy transition
Fluent in French (native or bilingual) and English, both spoken and written
Excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills
Confident presenter with a taste for technical and collaborative discussions
Willingness to travel occasionally and to work on-site in France and internationally
Ability to mentor and develop the competencies of other team members
Attractive assets
Experience in modeling and simulation of BESS or in developing sizing/dimensioning tools
Knowledge of the renewable energy sector (photovoltaics, wind)
Experience in Owner’s Project Assistance (AMO), specialized engineering consultancies or with an EPC/integrator
Programming skills, particularly in Python
