• Working Student Data Engineer assisting in data warehouse solutions and collaboration within data team. Lovehoney Group innovates sexual wellbeing technology in an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and optimization of data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain data integrity and security.
• Participate in data analysis projects to provide actionable insights.
• Support the integration of machine learning models within the warehouse.
• Create and maintain documentation for data engineering processes.
• Understand Big Query basics and participate in query development.
• Support implementation of simple data quality checks using Soda Core.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related program.
• Participation in academic projects or coursework in databases, programming, or data analysis.
• Strong technical foundation and eagerness to learn data engineering.
• Interest in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data architecture.
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database concepts.
• Basic programming skills, preferably Python.
• Understanding of fundamental data concepts and data processing.
• Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new concepts.
