Data Engineer responsible for managing data architecture and pipelines at Snappi, a neobank. Collaborating with teams to enable data processing and analysis in innovative banking solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for ingesting, processing, and storing large volumes of data.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Build and optimize data models and schemas for efficient storage and retrieval of data.
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities and improve efficiency.
Document data pipelines, processes, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Work closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to deploy and manage data systems in cloud environments.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electronics or equivalent work experience in the field of Data.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (7+ preferred, 3-5 preferred for junior role).
Knowledge of SQL, Python, with preferrable knowledge of Azure Data Factor.
Ability in decision making, problem analysis and problem solving.
Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Passionate about agile software processes, data driven development, reliability, and experimentation and experience working in a collaborative Agile product team will be considered as extra assets.
