About the role
- VP of Global IT overseeing enterprise solutions in Milestone's senior leadership team. Responsible for strategic IT governance and managing a diverse multinational IT workforce.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Milestone’s business capabilities are adequately supported with digital technology at a reasonable value/cost ratio while driving for automation and scalability
- Drive Enterprise Architecture, IT governance and related development frameworks including improvements of the overall IT operating model with related agile and ITIL processes
- Manage the IT portfolio in close alignment with business stakeholders
- Scout for and apply market driven innovation
- Service employees with a digitized secure work environment with reasonable controls
- Develop, maintain, and operate secure IT services and solutions related to how we sell, go to market and operate incl. underlying infrastructure
- In close collaboration with Product and Technology Group, align Enterprise and Product Architecture and provide shared IT services when needed for product development activities
- Provide foundation and controls for IT managed outside IT
- Accountable for information security including compliance with standards and legislation
- Budget responsible for 90+ employees and 30+ consultants managing an OPEX budget at 16 MEUR and CAPEX budget at app. 6 MEUR
Requirements
- The ideal candidate likely holds an IT-technical background (Master’s degree), preferably combined with a commercial or business-oriented postgraduate education.
- Preferably experienced in managing organizations across multiple countries (approx. 110 employees).
- Experience with implementation and optimization of large-scale system and process rollouts.
- Ideally experienced in maintaining a customer-oriented approach within the organization being served.
- Proficiency in English at a high professional level is required.
- In-depth knowledge of AI is highly desirable.
