- Responsible for achieving technical product and project objectives while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget
- Management of the technical development team and coordination of internal and external development partners
- Development of technical concepts and system architectures for new product generations
- Support for requirements analysis and responsibility for the technical product specification
- Identification of technical and organizational risks and development of appropriate mitigation strategies
- Presentation of project status and risks to top management and stakeholders
- Close collaboration with adjacent departments such as production, procurement, testing, and certification
Requirements
- Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of experience in the product development of complex plant systems — ideally in hydrogen technology or renewable energy
- Solid knowledge of the product development process and requirements-based systems development (Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering)
- Proven experience in technical project management and leading interdisciplinary development teams
- Knowledge in the area of green hydrogen (e.g., production, storage, transport) or related technologies such as Power-to-X or fuel cells
- Ideally experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as IBM DOORS or Polarion
- Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
