Responsibilities
- Coordinate tax calculation processes and ancillary tax obligations
- Monitor tax records, ensuring they are maintained in accordance with legislation
- Manage processes to ensure compliance with tax obligations at municipal, state and federal levels
- Monitor tax and fiscal legislation and proactively seek ways to improve the company’s tax position
- Provide technical support to billing teams to prevent errors or issues related to tax processes
- Support the Tax Manager in preparing and analyzing budgets and tax studies for the tax area, as well as interpreting results and preparing management reports
- Evaluate processes and drive continuous improvement to ensure process quality
- Coordinate the team in data extraction and analysis of results obtained through indicators
- Coordinate, align and motivate teams under your responsibility, providing performance feedback and requesting training when necessary
- Identify trends and demands and anticipate possible solutions
- Propose process improvement actions
- Ability to discern and prioritize urgent requests
- Monitor agreed service levels and maintain cooperation with other departments
Requirements
- Strong experience in calculating Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) under the Lucro Real (Real Profit) regime and Deferred Taxes
- Proven leadership experience
