Tax Analyst ensuring compliance with tax obligations for Vantive's legal entities. Supporting corporate tax requirements and audit processes within a global organization.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal and local tax obligations for assigned legal entities.
Prepare, calculate, review, and file monthly and annual tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, withholdings, and other applicable taxes).
Manage tax payments, tax provisions, and fiscal reserves.
Prepare and submit informative tax returns (monthly and annual).
Handle tax procedures such as refunds, compensations, authorizations, and government filings.
Support internal and external tax audits and respond to requests from tax authorities.
Ensure proper completion of statutory tax reports and maintain reconciled tax-related accounting accounts.
Support corporate tax requirements including deferred taxes, tax reporting packages, audit kits, and compliance certifications.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Identify and mitigate tax risks that may impact business operations.
Support tax-related projects, including changes in tax regulations and corporate initiatives.
Promote an ethical culture by adhering to Vantive’s Code of Conduct and compliance programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional title.
2–4 years of experience in tax functions, preferably within an accounting or consulting firm.
Solid knowledge of tax, accounting, and audit procedures.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (macros, pivot tables, filters).
Experience working with ERP systems.
Knowledge of NIFs and US GAAP.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical skills and ability to work across different functional areas.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Proactive mindset, continuous learning attitude, and strong execution focus.
Availability to travel, if required.
