About the role
- Provar Solution Engineer delivering world-class product demonstrations and providing pre-sales support. Working with customers to drive Proof of Values and industry insights in a hybrid role based in Gurugram.
Responsibilities
- Working with customers, prospects and partners to deliver world-class product demonstrations
- Driving all aspects of successful Proof of Values and Trials from requirements and design to training and delivery
- Providing strategic pre-sales support for sales activities including needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations and other general sales support
- Becoming an expert in the features, benefits and application of Provar
- Communicating daily with sales team regarding sales activities and strategies
- Providing proactive support to customers and prospects
- Being the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Collaborating with Provar SMEs to generate thought leadership content through white papers, blogs, webinars and other content creation
- Monitoring the market, industry trends, competitors and customer needs across the quality, automated testing, and software development market to identify trends and opportunities
- Developing and managing relationships with industry influencers, analysts and analyst agencies
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of QA best practices, Selenium, and test automation
- Industry expertise: experience with the software testing process, enterprise sales and marketing, and familiarity with software development lifecycles
- A bachelor's degree from a top university
- Understanding and familiarity with CI/CD concepts and popular tooling, including but not limited to Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Version Control Systems
- Working knowledge of standard HTML structure and how automation interacts with the DOM using Xpath, Labels, etc.
- Experience working with REST or SOAP-based web services in a professional capacity
- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its technologies, and industries it is associated with
- Experience and proven track record in working with Enterprise customers
- Knowledge of MEDDICC qualification framework and how to sell value
- Data driven approach: able to make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation
