About the role
- Senior Solutions Integration Engineer at GeoComply delivering successful customer integrations in geolocation compliance. Collaborating closely with product development and engineering teams to improve services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical point of contact for all customers throughout their integration journey and beyond, gaining a deep understanding of their technical environments, challenges, and integration requirements.
- Conduct in-depth technical discussions with customers to analyze their integration needs and translate them into clear, detailed technical specifications, integration plans, and user stories for the engineering team.
- Collect, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback related to integrations and product functionality, ensuring valuable insights are incorporated into the product backlog.
- Work closely with the Product Management team to align customer needs with the product roadmap, particularly focusing on integration-related requests.
- Collaborate directly with the engineering team to brainstorm technical solutions, ensure the feasibility of integration requests, and facilitate smooth implementation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and integration processes effectively to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist existing customers with technical integration inquiries, providing direct support for complex issues and escalating appropriately to the engineering team when necessary.
- Proactively seek to understand the competitive landscape in relation to integrations and product features, providing insights based on customer interactions and market awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with SDK integrations for browser solutions and/or mobile applications (Android/iOS), demonstrating a strong understanding of integration principles.
- Proven experience in a technical role (e.g., Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, Customer Engineer, Integration Engineer) with substantial direct customer interaction and a focus on technical problem-solving.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role with responsibilities for understanding customer needs and translating them into technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, API integrations, and technical architecture principles.
- Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience working closely and collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver technical products or features, particularly focusing on integration aspects.
- Proven ability to influence technical discussions and contribute to technical decision-making within a product development context.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and backlog management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer integration challenges.
