Responsibilities
Common Data Structure Creation and Maintenance
Establish and enforce data standards to ensure a common structure across all products.
Monitor data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Collaborate with data stewards and owners to maintain consistency.
Product Structure Definition
Partner with product teams to define and document the structure of each product.
Ensure alignment between product structure and data governance standards.
Support product teams in organizing their offerings to enable consistent data capture, reporting, and scalability.
Product Asset Repository
Create and manage a centralized repository for product-related data assets.
Organize and categorize data assets for easy retrieval and usage.
Ensure proper version control and access controls for assets.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, business units) to align data practices.
Maintain linkages between products and associated data assets.
Facilitate communication on data governance guidelines.
Lead the data governance committees to ensure decision making around data constantly evolves to suit the business needs.
Platform Evangelism
Serve as a champion for the modernized Insurance Platform, promoting its capabilities and benefits across teams.
Educate stakeholders on platform features, best practices, and integration opportunities.
Encourage adoption and consistent use of platform standards and tools.
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for process enhancement and efficiency.
Drive initiatives to improve data management practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in data governance, product structure definition, or integration roles.
Familiarity with LexisNexis Risk Solutions Insurance products and data assets.
Experience working with modernized API specifications, including RESTful APIs and JSON-based data delivery.
Ability to partner with product and technology teams to define and document scalable product structures.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence diverse teams.
Comfortable holding teams accountable to frameworks, standards, and delivery timelines.
Experience working with distributed teams across multiple locations.
Technical aptitude, including familiarity with SQL, dashboarding tools, or other data management technologies.
Knowledge of data governance tools and frameworks.
A mindset that embraces change and adapts quickly to evolving priorities.
