About the role
- Senior PL/I Entwickler collaborating on a major healthcare project at citema systems. Involved in the development, maintenance, and analysis of critical systems in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse fachlicher und technischer Anforderungen sowie Weiterentwicklung des Krankenbestandsführungssystems
- Erstellung von Konzepten und Umsetzung neuer Batch- und Online-Funktionen
- Pflege und Wartung bestehender PL/I-Anwendungen einschließlich Durchführung von Bestandsupdates
- Enge Abstimmung mit den Fachbereichen Provision und Krankenversicherung
- Kontinuierlicher fachlicher Austausch und Zusammenarbeit innerhalb des Entwicklungsteams
- Durchführung von Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen und Unterstützung im Testprozess
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Mathematik oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der PL/I-Programmierung unter IMS/DC für Dialog- und Batchanwendungen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in DB2 sowie im Umgang mit Tools wie DB/DC, SQL, JCL, TSO, ISPF, Endevor, Jira und Confluence
- Projekterfahrung im Versicherungsumfeld, idealerweise im Bereich Krankenversicherung oder Bestandssysteme
- Analytisches Denkvermögen, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein
- Freude an selbstständigem Arbeiten sowie an der Zusammenarbeit im Team
- Für die effektive Kommunikation im Projektumfeld sowie mit unseren deutschsprachigen Kunden ist ein sehr gutes mündliches und schriftliches Deutsch erforderlich.
