Responsibilities
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly and monthly pay runs.
- Onboarding new employees and managing terminations.
- Handling master file changes and overseeing leave management using MicrOpay EVO, UKG Ready Time & Attendance, and Workday systems.
- Processing payroll transactions, including manual payments and adjustments.
- Managing new employee set-up, terminations, and changes to employee records.
- Overseeing leave applications and ensuring accurate data import/export between systems.
- Preparing payroll reconciliations, reports, and superannuation payments.
- Responding promptly to payroll enquiries and liaising with internal teams.
- Supporting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar senior payroll role.
- Strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong relationship-building skills across all organisational levels.
- At least 2 years’ recent experience using MicrOpay EVO, UKG Ready Time & Attendance, and Workday.
- Exposure to the manufacturing or distribution industry is highly regarded.
