About the role
- Senior Payroll Manager overseeing payroll processes at Medtronic's Diabetes business for employees across multiple APAC locations. Ensuring timely and accurate employee payments and compliance with payroll regulations.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the payroll vendor platform to process payroll for employees across multiple APAC locations
- Enter, review, and validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and benefits deductions
- Manage and process special payroll cycles, such as bonuses, commissions, and equity awards and ensure all payroll processing adheres to company policies and local and international statutory regulations
- Review and reconcile payroll reports each pay period to ensure accuracy of employee payments, vendor remittances, and statutory filings
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to streamline data flows and resolve issues related to employee data and integrations
- Contribute to projects involving payroll implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other finance systems
Requirements
- At least 15 years’ experience in high-volume payroll processing, auditing, with direct hands-on experience and handled multiple countries.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and keen into details
- Strong communicator with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulation
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Additional desirable qualifications include proficiency with CloudPay or ADP payroll systems
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Accounting, Finance or Business
