About the role

• Software Engineer responsible for designing and implementing Workday Extend applications at Kyndryl. Collaborate with stakeholders and guide development efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions.
• Responsible for implementing identified components based on design documentation.
• Ensure implemented components are documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration.
• Architect the solution, test the code, and deploy/build a CI/CD pipeline.
• Provide work estimates for assigned development work.
• Guide features and functional objectives for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a team passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence.
• Drive innovation and take ownership of your work while honing problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Software Engineering
• Experience with Workday implementations
• Ideate, Develop and maintain custom Workday extend applications.
• Design intuitive, customer-facing interfaces with strong UI/UX principles in mind.
• Work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for extend application, including process flows and technical specifications.
• Serve as a Workday Extend expert with deep knowledge of design concepts.
• Experienced in Workday Integrations, APIs(Rest and SOAP) as well as Workday Security.
• Manage the testing and deployment of Workday Extend applications.
• Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team.
