About the role
- Forward Deployed Software Engineer responsible for technical delivery of enterprise software systems. Engaging with customers and managing deployments with a focus on operational success.
Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery across multiple customer deployments
- Design, develop, and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) artifacts
- Maintain operational availability for live enterprise applications
- Implement, debug, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with core engineering and product teams
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality
- Act as a primary technical liaison for customers
- Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer sessions
- Scope work and remove technical blockers to protect delivery timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- 5+ years with C# and the .NET/.NET Core ecosystem
- 3+ years of hands-on Java development
- 3+ years of experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting applications within Kubernetes environments
- Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred
- Experience with front-end development using React or Angular is a plus
- Experience in customer-facing or professional services roles in regulated sectors is a plus
