About the role

Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) building features for Hostinger's Website Builder team. Collaborating with designers and engineers to empower users in creating successful online businesses.

Responsibilities

Ship features that matter - Build Vue.js 3 components for everything from drag-and-drop editors to ecommerce admin panels that help users sell products, and AI-powered features that are shaping the future of web design
Own your work - Take features from planning to production within your autonomous squad, making decisions that balance speed, quality, and impact
Code with confidence - Write TypeScript, test thoroughly with unit tests, and refactor legacy code to keep the platform modern and maintainable
Collaborate and challenge - Work with cross-functional teams, ask "why?", and push back when something doesn't make sense
Grow continuously - Learn from code reviews, experiment with new approaches, and contribute to architectural decisions in our monorepo structure

Strong proficiency in Vue.js 3 or any other modern front-end framework
TypeScript expertise (intermediate to advanced) - type safety, interfaces, generics, and JS-to-TS migrations
Solid foundation in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS for efficient styling
Testing experience with unit tests (Vitest or Jest) to ensure code quality
Self-driven and autonomous - takes initiative, challenges decisions when needed, and focuses on business impact over perfection
Excellent communicator - shares updates proactively, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and embraces iterative development
Proven experience with Git for version control in team environments
**Nice to have:
Experience with Pinia/Vuex, Vite, monorepo architecture, Docker, or Astro
Deep understanding of Vue.js Composition API and experience migrating from the Options API
Familiarity with error monitoring (Sentry, Grafana) or analytics tools (Amplitude)
Performance optimization experience
