Responsibilities
- Join the Seekr team and help drive our front-end initiatives forward.
- Work closely with our Engineering Lead to refine applications, ensuring they are performant and scalable.
- Actively contribute in a 'no bystanders' environment, partnering with ML Engineers, Back-end, and DevOps peers.
- Rapidly iterate on features and deploy performance-tuned web applications at scale.
- Build tools for a diverse user base including government agencies, data center companies, and SMBs.
- Collaborate with QA team and Product Design team to ensure vision is embodied in the code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with React and a deep working knowledge of its principles and paradigms, including components, hooks, Next.js, and the React lifecycle.
- Proficient in using AI Coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/React infrastructure, including Node and NPM.
- Experience consuming JSON APIs and creating lightning-fast web experiences at scale.
- Working knowledge of automated testing principles and practices.
- Strong collaborative skills, working well with back-end and DevOps engineers to create APIs and server deployments.
- Agile mindset, with experience in Scrum, CI/CD, and Git.
- The following experience is a plus: Tailwind, or other CSS framework; Atlassian tool usage such as JIRA or Confluence.
