About the role

• Senior Software Engineer developing automated and manual tests for Dell's AI-ready storage solutions. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality across storage products with high standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated and manual tests for system and product level testing
• Validate distributed systems and work closely with engineering teams to drive quality improvements
• Create and maintain System test plans, test cases, and documentation
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites
• Validate complex, distributed storage systems across multi-config test environments
• Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to validate customer use cases
• Perform stress, scalability, and reliability testing to ensure product solutions can handle global-scale workloads
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Participate in the review and evaluation of product requirements, specification and design docs

Requirements

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software testing - preferably with an enterprise storage product environment like NAS, Object storage
• Experience in programming and Test Automation (Python, JavaScript etc).
• Test Automation framework design and development.
• Skilled at reviewing and collaborating on product design docs and have competency in authoring detailed test plans & test cases.
• Good understanding of how to apply non-deterministic testing techniques to validate system behavior under unpredictable conditions.
