About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer managing development and production infrastructure at Vicarius. Leading initiatives to scale, secure, and streamline their operations.
Responsibilities
- Enhance DevOps tools, processes, and procedures continuously
- Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production and Development environments
- Deploy, manage, and support our environments, including troubleshooting incidents
- Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive end-to-end quality
- Oversee the Vicarius cloud cost. Making sure it aligns with the planned budget.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in DevOps roles
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, including Python and Bash
- Experience working with one or more cloud-based Kubernetes distributions
- Strong expertise in AWS
- Expertise in GitHub and implementing GitActions and GitOps workflows
- Experience in database management, including Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB Atlas
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
- Knowledgeable about security practices, compliance standards, and QA procedures
- Passionate about technology, committed to continuous learning, and dedicated to optimizing solutions.
