About the role
- Intern assisting with cloud infrastructure automation for educational technology company UOL EdTech. Collaborating with teams on database operations and cloud deployment tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support automation of provisioning, deployment and scalability of cloud infrastructure and databases.
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize and streamline processes.
- Assist in providing guidance on best practices for database modeling and operations.
- Contribute to performance improvements for applications, infrastructure and databases.
- Provide support for requests and incidents.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Studying databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL).
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Bash, Go, Python).
- Basic knowledge of Git repositories.
- Basic Linux knowledge.
- Interest in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform or similar).
- Interest in automation and administration of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Basic understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Interest in learning about cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week) in São Paulo, SP.
