About the role

• Senior Business Systems Analyst responsible for analyzing business problems and creating technical solutions for data warehousing and business intelligence in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems and work with software developers to create technical solutions in the areas of data warehousing, ETL development, business intelligence, reporting, and data exchanges with external partners.
• Lead scrum ceremonies, project tasks, coordinating solution development.
• Write requirements documents and create test cases for User Acceptance Testing.
• Perform QA checks to ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct end-user training for new functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role is preferred; automotive credit/lending industry or experience in a professional, corporate environment is preferred
• Experience in gathering business requirements required
• Working knowledge of SQL and change management required
• Experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies required
• Demonstrated competency in business analysis techniques such as process models, data flow diagrams, or other diagramming tools and models
• Experience developing and implementing analytics databases in an IT organization
• Experience with vendor negotiation and management including writing or modifying effective and protective SOWs preferred
• Experience with data governance and enterprise data management preferred
• Experience with modern data encryption standards and secure data exchange processes preferred
• Demonstrated strong sense of ownership in the areas of responsibility with minimal direction in accomplishing business goals and objectives
• Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex and/or technical ideas with business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
