About the role
- HR Generalist supporting a maturing organization with safety and HR functions in food management. Leading safety program implementation, training, and compliance initiatives while managing employee relations and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Support a maturing organization through critical HR objectives and key results
- Cascade the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring effective communication of values
- Develop and implement Quest Safety Program
- Conduct safety training for employees on policies, procedures, and hazard recognition
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct inspections and identify hazardous conditions
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Prepare files and reports for Leadership as needed
- Support Recruiting and Onboarding of Team Members
- Special Projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety and HR laws
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
- Strong Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- 5-7 years’ experience preferred
- Experience in Training and Development preferred
- Prior experience in Contract Food Service Management Industry preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred
