About the role
- Research Associate in Digital ASIC design contributing to the ADIA2 project at the University of Edinburgh. Involves digital IC design flow and developing innovative ideas.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ADIA2 project within the IMNS institute at the University of Edinburgh
- Participate in various stages of the design flow including specification set-up, schematics, design, layout, verification, and testing
- Develop and test ideas as part of the role
Requirements
- Tape-out experience – please note this is absolutely essential.
- Good grasp of the digital IC design flow
- Good scripting skills (e.g. SKILL & Ocean Script)
- Good communication skills including writing technical reports/papers and presenting technical work
- Ability and initiative to generate and test ideas
