About the role
- Regional Sourcing Manager handling logistics procurement for ICL in Europe. Leading strategic sourcing activities and optimizing services while managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for the logistics sub-category
- Achieve cost reductions while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels
- Identify, evaluate & select suppliers
- Negotiate and close framework-agreements for the EU region
- Drive service optimization throughout ICL via collaboration with relevant ICL units
- Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets & trends
- Perform best-in-class negotiation processes via analysis of supply & demand trends
- Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments
- Address & solve operational issues with suppliers
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor degree
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in logistics procurement, international supply chain of chemicals and/or minerals industry
- Experience with logistics of dry bulk, liquid bulk and packed products all modalities
- Understanding of ADR, ADN, RID, IMO, IATA, GDP or IFS
- Understanding of regulations for warehousing of chemical and fertilizer products
- Experience with systems e.g. Freight Procurement, Transporeon TMS, SAP, MS Office
- Demonstrable track record of success in managing complex, cross-functional activities and developing/executing key procurement processes
- Strong result driven personality with good communication, negotiation and relations skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix management style organization
