Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Regional Director, analyze the market potential (crop types, customer segments, competition) to define the territory's commercial strategy and identify development opportunities
Lead and coordinate sales campaigns with regional representatives to achieve established objectives
Monitor customer retention indicators, analyze results, and implement concrete actions to retain clients and strengthen business relationships
Share agronomic best practices and raise the team's awareness of field realities to ensure a coherent and relevant approach with growers
Train and support representatives in the field, both commercially and technically, to promote their professional development and the achievement of targets
Organize field days and technical workshops for representatives and farmers to showcase the company's expertise and encourage adoption of suitable solutions
Act as a point of contact for product-related complaint management, follow up with representatives, and communicate with suppliers when required
Implement preventive and corrective actions to maximize customer satisfaction, while making recommendations for continuous improvement based on field feedback
Actively collaborate with the marketing committee by sharing field observations (customer needs, agronomic constraints, emerging trends)
Requirements
Hold a university degree in agronomy or a college diploma in an agricultural field, or any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant to the role
5–7 years of experience in sales with significant experience in agronomy
Hold a valid driver's license and be available to travel frequently within the assigned territory
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Good knowledge of the agricultural sector
