About the role
- Project Risk Manager ensuring successful project execution with strategic risk management for LG Energy Solutions. Engaging in project negotiations and risk mitigation across the Project Execution portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives to manage and mitigate risk across the Project Execution portfolio.
- Serve as the embedded project execution liaison within deal teams during project negotiations.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations teams to validate risk assumptions.
- Coordinate lessons learned across projects and drive improvement initiatives within the department.
- Ensure risk management activities comply with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in project risk management, project execution, or deal structuring.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation and risk allocation.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or capital projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
