About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage inventory aging and buy-in goals to optimize working capital and meet company objectives.
- Oversee drop ship purchasing metrics including PO cycle times and vendor lead times.
- Collaborate with category teams to align on revenue, rebate goals, product roadmaps, and offers.
- Analyze industry trends to identify inventory opportunities and support profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships across departments to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
- Lead a team of buyers, including performance management, coaching, and development.
- Motivate the team to achieve inventory, cost structure, and profitability goals.
- Use data analytics to monitor and report on inventory performance.
- Identify future supply chain needs and communicate them to senior leadership.
- Work with distributors to maintain lead times, fill rates, and ETA accuracy.
- Provide extended coverage during month-end and quarter-end periods as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Pricing, or a related field, OR 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Pricing, or a related field without a degree, including 1 years of management/leadership experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with senior leadership
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated financial and analytical skills
- Experience mentoring and managing direct reports
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong understanding of cross-functional team dynamics and problem-solving
- Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools
- Proven ability to build and maintain internal and external partner relationships.
