Responsibilities
- Support with welding technical expertise in development in production
- Qualification and documentation of developed welding processes
- Support the factory's manufacturing units with questions that can arise
- Support and train personnel in welding processes
- Participate in projects as a specialist in welding processes
- Process monitoring and control
- Review manufacturing documentation such as drawings, specifications, WPQR/WPS
- Document manufacturing processes and present to customers
- Contact with customers, suppliers, and other Westinghouse fuel factories
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience evaluating welded products against applicable standards such as ISO 5817
- Experience working with processes from a welding engineer's perspective
- Additional training focused on welding specialist, IWS, IWT or IWE
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of welding processes, coaching and certification of welding personnel according to ISO 9606
