About the role
- Senior Water Resources Engineer leading projects for water infrastructure solutions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality sustainable water management designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects
- Support project management activities, including scope development, schedules, budgets, coordination with internal teams, and technical deliverables
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders, including support of permitting processes and regulatory approvals
- Apply BKF standards and best practices to ensure quality, consistency, and innovation in project delivery
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers Collaborate across BKF service lines and disciplines to support integrated project delivery
- Assist with proposal support and technical input for water resources and stormwater pursuits as needed
Requirements
- 6+ years working on site development projects
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- EIT is required, California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential within our close and client-focused environment.
- Strong initiative and technical problem-solving expertise
Benefits
- The typical base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - $149,000.00, annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is a salary position paid biweekly.
