Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
System-level understanding of a gas turbine engine.
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and requirements, including casting, machining, welding, and heat treatment.
Strong Drawing Interpretation skills, including GD&T.
Knowledge of the gas turbine engine industry, specifically regarding how design requirements are communicated and maintained in production.
Proven understanding and application of solid mechanics, dynamics, fatigue, and finite element analysis.
Capability to perform complex analyses and hand calculations of engine components and systems.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to interact with engineering teams, other disciplines, and external (supplier or customer) parties.
Proficiency in FEA (ANSYS or equivalent), 3D modeling (CAD), and GOM analysis (Structured light scan) of gas turbine engine static structures and systems
