About the role

• Master Scheduler orchestrating scheduling lifecycle of multifamily residential projects at Zekelman Industries. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution across project phases.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains high-level master schedules that integrate inputs from multiple business units.
• Manages detailed project schedules across all phases, from land acquisition through lease-up.
• Monitors progress, identifies risks to critical path, and implements corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Collaborates with stakeholders across internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, realistic schedules.
• Consolidates and validates scheduling data to establish a single source of truth for each project.
• Leverages scheduling tools (Asta Powerproject, MS Project, Primavera P6) and reporting platforms (Power BI, Excel) to create dashboards and visualizations.
• Optimizes schedules based on resource allocation, risks, and scope changes while managing change control processes.
• Coordinates schedules across a portfolio of projects to ensure alignment at the program level.
• Identifies schedule risks, develops mitigation strategies, and ensures timely, cost-effective solutions.
• Promotes best practices, captures lessons learned, and drives continuous improvement in scheduling processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction project scheduling experience, preferably in multifamily residential, modular, or large-scale construction environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Expert-level proficiency in Asta Powerproject, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
• Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables) with familiarity in Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with strong stakeholder engagement experience.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Experience with modular construction or offsite manufacturing workflows is a plus.
