- Assist with the development of content for the firm’s website including Alerts, Advisories, Newsletters, blog posts, articles, and web content
- Copyedit and proof external and client-facing content
- Work with practice leaders to vet external content
- Handle posting and distribution of content, internal and external
- Contribute to overall content strategy
- Assist with SEO tagging and optimization of the firm’s website
- Interpret Google Analytics for improvement suggestions
- Post content on the firm’s website
- Assist with content updates to RFP and proposal material
- Review various social media posts as needed
- Work on short- and long-term projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- a major in journalism, public relations, English, communications, or related field preferred
- J.D. preferred or experience in legal writing and/or legal journalism
- 4-6 years of professional experience as a legal writer or content developer with experience in both print and web content
- Good problem-solving skills
- High level of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic HTML and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Familiarity with legal writing
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and interpreting data
