Responsibilities
Serve as the lead attorney and provide legal advice for Compliance Solutions
Manage a team of business attorneys
Serve as the primary legal support to the Executive VP and Compliance Solutions Executive team
Proactively identify and solve issues impacting the direction of the business
Structure, draft, negotiate, interpret, manage, and enforce all types of technology and other commercial agreements
Keep Compliance Solutions management team and Associate General Counsel informed of significant legal matters
Advise on legal compliance and risk management
Effectively manage outside counsel in a cost-effective manner
Educate business teams about contracting forms and legal risks
Requirements
Candidates must have a law degree (J.D.)
Be admitted to practice law in the U.S. jurisdiction where that candidate is admitted
At least ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible corporate/commercial/technology law experience
Prior experience working in both a law firm and a corporate law department preferred
