About the role
- Lead Procurement Agent overseeing day-to-day operations of the Commodity team at Boeing. Managing vendor negotiations and ensuring process improvements for supply chain performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the day to day operations of the Commodity team to achieve key results in support of the business
- Manage negotiations with vendors on prices, contracts and conditions
- Ensure day to day priorities are aligned with Commodity Management expectations
- Resolve supplier discrepancies by closely working with the Operations/QA departments
- Assist in continuously enhancing the skills of team members by coaching, training, and/or mentoring activities
Requirements
- Typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience
- Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required
- Experience in Supply Chain Management
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience in Program or Project Management
