About the role
- Junior/Mid Purchasing Specialist at Schaeffler involved in processing info records and managing supplier sources. Aiming for effective category management and vendor relations tasks in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Processing of mass and single info records and source lists (creating, deleting and updating)
- Conducting mass and single price updates
- Supporting annual budgeting process for Category Management (Y)PSA Single creating and mass changes on Scheduling Agreements
- Changing mass and single Material Group
- Creating Single Quality Info Records
- Performing mass Vendor Screen and PO changes
- Daily working in ServiceNOW
- Supporting non-standard reporting tasks according to business needs
Requirements
- Completed studies in Economics, Logistics, Finance, Management or Project Management
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (min. B2 level)
- Knowledge of German is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Experience with SAP, ServiceNOW is a strong advantage
- Ideally, first professional experience (e.g. internships) for Junior’s position or 1-3 year of professional experience in relevant field for Specialist’s position
- Experience in Data Management, Purchasing, Analytics or other relevant field
- High affinity to work with various systems
- Interpersonal, presentation, communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Fast learner and customer-oriented person
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
