About the role
- Afya seeks an Instructional Designer to enhance educational product designs. Focus will be on online and face-to-face courses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement instructional design strategies for online and in-person courses, ensuring engaging and impactful learning experiences for students;
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant, high-quality course content, including text, video, audio, and interactive materials;
- Ensure course user interfaces are intuitive, attractive, and easy to use, with a focus on user experience and accessibility;
- Actively participate in the development of new products and educational resources from concept to launch, contributing instructional design and user-experience insights;
- Efficiently manage schedules and resources to ensure timely project completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining clear, transparent communication;
- Schedule class recordings and the delivery of supplementary materials with subject matter experts;
- Request, receive, and review learning objects (lessons, flashcards, chapters, live sessions, etc.) submitted by instructors to ensure they meet the basic requirements defined by Instructional Design.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Knowledge of instructional design development;
- Experience in content structuring and prioritization;
- Project management (Agile methodologies or PMO);
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and their main functionalities;
- UX/UI design and familiarity with user-centered design principles;
- Experience in developing educational products.
