About the role

Responsibilities
- As part of our Finance team, you will play a central role in operational accounting and help ensure efficient, digitally supported processes in financial accounting.
- You will work closely with various departments such as Sales, Purchasing and Controlling and actively support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Independently pre-accounting of incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Posting of business transactions using DATEV Unternehmen online.
- Support and further development of the ERP system with regard to invoicing and accounting processes.
- Processing invoice runs using digital approval tools such as Candis.
- Maintenance of vendor and customer master data.
- Handling retail sales including cash reconciliations, payment matching and revenue postings.
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB).
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (e.g. industrial clerk, tax clerk) or comparable qualification, ideally with further training in accounting or certified accounting.
- Good accounting knowledge and experience with DATEV, especially DATEV Unternehmen online.
- Confident use of digital tools and ERP systems; experience in system maintenance and support is an advantage.
- Experience with approval tools like Candis is desirable.
- Structured, independent and precise way of working.
- Team player with a sense of responsibility and a strong service orientation.
- Proficient user of MS Office, especially Excel.
- German language skills at least C1 level.
