Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end IT procurement activities across hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure cost optimization, efficiency, and business continuity
- Negotiate, draft, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and mitigate risks through KPIs and SLAs
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with overall business needs
- Drive budget planning, forecasting, and savings initiatives within IT procurement categories
- Monitor IT market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to strengthen procurement strategies
- Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies, governance, and ethical standards
- Support cross-functional projects by providing procurement expertise and guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT procurement (hardware, software, telecommunication, cloud services, etc.)
- Strong expertise in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and process management
- Proven track record of leading and developing procurement teams
- Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing, budget planning, and cost optimization
- Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement tools (SAP, Ariba, Oracle, or similar)
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to track IT market trends and incorporate innovations into procurement strategies
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools
