About the role
- Head of Landlord Compliance in a social housing provider ensuring health and safety compliance. Leading a team to deliver excellent service and manage operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all Landlord Health and Safety (H&S) matters, ensuring compliance with legislation surrounding Landlord H&S, including the Building Safety Act.
- Manage the overall performance of the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Wisely manage expenditures and improve performance across all aspects of operations.
- Liaise with safety enforcement agencies and fire authorities to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Oversee component servicing and monitoring, ensuring compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
- Use performance metrics to improve operations and advise the Board while maintaining high customer service standards.
Requirements
- Extensive previous experience in providing high-quality Landlord compliance services.
- Deep understanding of the affordable housing sector.
- Knowledgeable about the Housing Health & Safety Rating System and key regulations related to Landlord compliance and safety.
- Skilled in strategy development and crafting detailed board reports to support decision-making with clear data and analysis.
- Experienced leader, promoting a culture of growth and high performance within your department.
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent and holding an asset management or landlord compliance qualification or significant relevant experience.
- Full valid UK driving licence.
