Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing the individual financial statements for all entities of the osapiens Group (currently approx. 13 companies across 7 countries)
Lead and develop the internal General Ledger team
Close coordination and collaboration with central teams for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expense Management, Treasury, Tax and Controlling
Ensure timely preparation, accuracy and completeness of financial data including account reconciliations, journal postings and financial analyses
Ensure and optimize intercompany processes and transfer pricing together with Controlling and Tax
Functional ownership of the ERP system (Oracle NetSuite), including system maintenance, further development, access management and subject-matter support for finance digitization projects
Establish and maintain an internal control system (ICS) in the accounting area and ensure compliance with group policies and legal requirements
Responsibility for developing, maintaining and updating a group-wide accounting manual
Main contact for external audits to ensure smooth audit processes
Produce accurate financial reports and support management with relevant analyses
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accounting processes and interfaces
Requirements
Qualification: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant)
Experience: Several years of professional experience in financial accounting with a focus on General Ledger and closing processes
Expertise: Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards and tax law
IT skills: Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite
Leadership: Proven leadership skills and experience in team management
Industry experience: Experience in a fast-growing scale-up with a B2B focus or in a corporate environment with Shared Service Center structures is an advantage
Languages: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
