About the role
- Midweight–Senior Fullstack Developer helping Love Finance build the Lovey App for financial management. Working remotely with occasional travel to Birmingham.
Responsibilities
- Building and improving features across the Lovey iOS and Android app.
- Working with Flutter to deliver a seamless cross-platform experience.
- Bringing any native iOS/Android knowledge to push the app even further.
- Contributing to backend services with Node.js and Python when needed.
- Deploying and running services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Keeping things collaborative and tidy with Git.
- Using Linear to keep tickets simple and the workflow clear.
- Working lean – just enough process to stay on track, never enough to slow us down.
- Owning your work, with the autonomy to deliver without micromanagement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience as a fullstack developer.
- Strong skills in Flutter with experience shipping iOS and Android apps.
- Bonus: hands-on experience with native iOS/Android development.
- Solid grounding in Node.js and/or Python.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Comfort with Git and modern workflows.
- Someone who thrives in a lean environment – structured enough to deliver reliably, autonomous enough to move fast.
