Responsibilities
- Recommend solution options and provide technical recommendations based on business complexities and objectives
- Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to their growth
- Participate in technical design meetings and review business requirements
- Develop and unit test software solutions following the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, testers, and infrastructure teams
- Define technical deliverables and ensure detailed documentation, support knowledge transfer, and configuration processes
- Contribute to the overall design, configuration, and deployment documentation
- Conduct research and provide viable technical alternatives
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, standards, and company guidelines
- Work with offshore development teams, if applicable
- Conduct code reviews as required
- Review and address code scanning outputs for vulnerability remediation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of experience leading software development or a related field
- Experience in Cloud-based software development and testing (AWS, Azure)
- Integration of AI practices in the engineering strategy
- UI controls, ASP.NET
- Frontend experience platforms such as Angular or React
- HTML5 / CSS
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- 8 years of experience in software development or a related field preferred
