About the role
- Full Stack Engineer at iHeartMedia developing and supporting Node/Angular applications for high traffic content. Collaborating on features and maintaining user experience across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Work on Node/Angular based applications/services
- Responsible for creating and supporting services that need to scale for high traffic
- Take ownership of new and existing features/services
- Participate in the on-call rotation that helps with any after-hours / overnight support issues
Requirements
- Experience with NodeJS, Angular, Typescript
- Experience with SQL/NOSQL (MongoDB preferred)
- Experience with GraphQL
- Bonus points added for experience with Kubernetes and Go
- Background and/or experience in scaling media / high traffic websites
- Familiar with monitoring software such as New Relic, Datadog, or Sentry
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and able to take feedback from others
- Must be able to operate during EST working hours
- Comfortable with Agile development processes, Jira/KANBAN
