About the role
- Finance Data & Analytics Developer Intern at HCSC supporting development and maintenance of analytics solutions. Engaging in project work and final presentations over a ten-week summer program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting development, integration, testing, and maintenance of existing and new data & analytics business solutions
- Initiate and monitor timely defect resolution for production and operational readiness
- Manage deadlines and work efforts within a timely manner
- Recommend process improvements and communicate effectively with the team and management
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies
- Maintain complete confidentiality of company business
- Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, assigned project, and any solutions or recommendations
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information science, management information systems or a related field
- Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June – August)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (currently, we are not offering this program to students on a visa)
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Practical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and Access
