Field Service Engineer supporting on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory systems. Work involves customer interaction and technical problem solving while traveling primarily in MD, DC, and VA.
Responsibilities
Support customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions
Install and optimize hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
Diagnose and resolve product performance problems
Perform maintenance and repairs
Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree within the science field (e.g., chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology) or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving Agilent Atomic Spectroscopy and Molecular Spectroscopy products preferred, but not required
Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential
Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful, and timely
The position requires an active, valid driver's license
